Welcome! We are Boy Scout Troop 162 in Northwest Austin Texas, part of the Capital Area Council of the Boy Scouts of America. Our troop is made up of about 75 boys ages 11 to 17 years old. Most of the kids attend Canyon Vista Middle School or Westwood High School but this is not a prerequisite for joining. We are a diverse troop and welcome any boy interested in scouting. We are chartered by Unity Church of the Hills on Anderson Mill Road where we hold our weekly troop meetings weekly.
